Assessment of the following value chains : mangoes, onions, market gardening, indigenous cereals and maize, covering 3 countries : Burkina Faso, Niger and Senegal. The scoping analysis, commissioned by SAFIN (www.safinetwork.org), aims to identify opportunities for supporting SMEs in the selected value chains. The study highlights areas of significant potential for transformation that are not currently being addressed by the market or by institutional actors and where new financing solutions may play a key enabling role.
