Food security programme

Sud Cameroun Hévéa operates a 46,000 ha plantation and estimates indicate that the population of the region will reach 45,000 once the cruising speed of exploitation is in place. classM is studying the feasibility of a food security programme guaranteeing supplies for the population living around the plantation, while supporting the development of local agricultural production:

Assessment of the existing local food supply and its trends (agrarian diagnosis, flows, marketing channels, gaps in food supply, etc.).
Identification of investment opportunities in high-potential local agricultural sectors that could be supported by SudCam.
Formulation of a strategy to improve food security in the plantation, identifying the possible roles of SUDCAM, the main bottlenecks to be resolved, the key players to be mobilised and the economic model.
