MINING- OIL & GAS
Local content and CSR are key issues for the extractive industries. To meet these challenges, classM supports its customers in implementing profitable, and therefore sustainable, solutions in the field.
We recommend CSR actions based on entrepreneurship. It is in fact the creation of local value that will guarantee effective CSR that is integrated into the sphere of our customers, and even into their core business. By creating and/or developing local businesses that become independent of the initial customer, CSR takes on its full meaning.
classM supports Endeavour Mining in the creation of its ‘economic development’ pillar
On the basis of this shared vision, classM and Endeavour Mining are studying which businesses can be supported, structured and developed in the environment of the group’s mining sites. In addition to supporting small-scale entrepreneurship, the aim is to develop an ecosystem that creates local wealth and jobs. In the medium term, the businesses supported will be profitable and the dividends generated will be reinvested in other business projects.
classM and Endeavour Mining have created the ECODEV Impact Fund.
